We spent considerable time examining how to maximize the performance and options of this exhaust system. The factory exhaust consists of a long downpipe with two catalytic converters, and two rather large mufflers in the section after the cats.

Thorough long term street testing has confirmed that our high flow downpipe, whether equipped with with the 400 cell ceramic catalytic converter or the 200 cell metal catalytic converter, will not set a Check Engine light or any fault codes in the ECU. For customers looking for ultimate power, our HJS German made metal catalytic converter featuring an Emitec core will provide an additional 9hp over our ceramic converter option.

Here are some features of our system. Each feature was chosen for performance and longevity reasons, and when making your exhaust decisions you should settle for nothing less:

The downpipe features an integrated resonator to keep the exhaust sound volume civilized even with the elimination of the very restrictive factory converters. The catback system is topped off with our signature 3" beveled exhaust tips. The tips sport laser etched AWE Tuning logos and are double walled to ensure a mirror polish even under hard usage. The system has multiple slip joints with high quality t-bolt clamps, to allow optimal adjustment.

Our catback systems will mate up to the stock downpipe, and our downpipe will mate to our catbacks or any other catback that is designed to mate up to the factory downpipe.

Audi 1.8T quattro Cat Back Exhaust

For 1.8T quattro 5/6 speed and Tiptronic at this time only. Manual transmission system is a catback design, Tiptronic is a midpipe back design and reuses the stock downpipe.

We spent considerable time examining how to maximize the performance and options of this exhaust system. The AWE Tuning exhaust boasts features you will not find on any other system on the market, ensuring unmatched power, fitment, and sound levels.

Each system is mandrel bent T304 stainless steel, and the manual transmission model is a full catalytic converter back design. Since the catalytic converter resides in the engine bay with the A4 1.8T, an exhaust system is only considered a catalytic converter back design if the downpipe that comes off the catalytic converter is also part of the system. Not only does our manual transmission system include a downpipe, but it is a whopping 2.5" in diameter, guaranteeing maximum flow even with big turbo kits.

The AWE Tuning exhaust makes the stock system look puny in every way. For the manual transmission system, the downpipe is 2.5" vs 2.125" for stock. On both manual and Tip transmission systems our midpipe is 3.00" vs 2.25" for stock, and our rear section tubing is 2.25" vs a tiny 1.75" for stock. Our straight through resonators and mufflers ensure flow while keeping the noise level down to civilized volume. There is no drone with this system!

MK4 Dual Tip Cat Back Exhaust

Introducing an exhaust system designed to exceed your expectations in every way.

For cars with that came equipped from the factory with dual tip rear mufflers only at this time. Pre 2001 Mk4 cars and pre 2002 New Beetle with hidden factory tips will need to cut the rear valence and install the late model lower bumper trim to use this system (Mk4 instructions included). Lower bumper trim for Mk4 is available separately above.

Each system is mandrel bent 2.50" T304 stainless steel, and is a full catalytic converter back design, producing gains of 10-15hp crank horsepower. Our straight through resonator and muffler design ensures flow while keeping the noise level down to civilized volume. There is no drone with this system!

The rear muffler is a single 2.50" inlet, dual 2.25" outlet design, with full T304 stainless steel construction including the packing material. Our signature 3" beveled exhaust tips sport laser etched AWE Tuning logos and are double walled to ensure a mirror polish even under hard usage. These are the best looking tips on the market.

Audi A4 B6/B7 Center Vent Mounted Boost Gauge

From the originators of the vent mounted boost gauge comes our latest masterpiece. After several design studies, we are pleased to offer the most visually integrated boost gauge available for the Audi A4 B7 chassis.

Available in Black or Platinum

Why a vent mount location? Mounting a gauge on the steering column blocks portions of the driver information display, and mounting on the a-pillar is not possible to do in a clean manner due to the very wide a-pillar dimension. Mounting the gauge in a center vent ensures that it is readable at a quick glance, even under full acceleration.

The gauge precision is unmatched, and the kit just oozes quality. Backlighting is via crisp LEDs, ensuring a perfect match to the factory instrument cluster.

Not only does the gauge match the lighting scheme of the B7 dash exactly, but the gauge mount is designed to allow air to still flow into the passenger compartment. The gauge sits within an injection molded plastic pod, CAD engineered in house. The pod replaces the slats that sit within the factory vent enclosure, producing a seamless integration with the cockpit. The color match and texture are perfect!

Performance drivers value pedal covers in order to fine tune the spacing between pedals, making for faster and more efficient footwork. Not to mention that they look cool, too!

However, anybody who has installed any of the popular "generic" pedal covers in their VW can tell you that it is not an easy task. The VW and Audi factory pedals present all sorts of challenges when installing covers, from the large hole in the middle of the brake pedal, to the shape and thickness of the accelerator pedal. Besides the install issues, few of these generic cover sets have the look that quite matches the sophisticated and serious interiors of the VW and Audi models. What might look right in a Honda just doesn't cut it for most VW or Audi drivers.

The shortcomings of all the pedal sets out there really frustrated us, so we decided to design a set with a clean sheet of paper. Inspired by some of the high dollar pedal kits available from Europe, we melded all our favorite pedal cover features, situated the bolt hole placement to provide proper and easy installation, and offered them at a price that can't be beat.
